Gorgeous weather here today...just look at the color of that sky!!
(Pay no attention to the snow on our grass in the background :)
I asked Jacob what he thought of his "big day" yesterday....with church, then a trip to Denver for Casa Bonita with his birth momma and family....he declined to comment. :)
We did have great fun though. Casa Bonita used to be so "Big" and "Amazing" when I was a kid...Oh, to hang on to that childlike view :)
Luke 18:16-17
But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."
Do you ever feel like you have so much to say...but struggle with the delivery?
I'm sure Jacob is thinking that same thing in this video :)
Do you know what I mean?
Pretty sky at our house last night :)
Jacob scooted over to the mirror and was cooing at himself the other day....
I now enter the world of little fingerprints on things :)
We survived another doctor's visit just fine. Momma didn't even cry this time :) Jacob weighed in at 13 lbs 5 oz, is 25 and 1/4 inches long, with a head circumference of 43cm! He is in the 50-75th percentile for length and head, and in the 10-25th percentile for his weight.....Marand said to remind the doctor that he's getting most of his milk from his momma, and "she makes it skim" :) Anyway, we were all pleased with Jacob's growth and development :) We praise God for a healthy little man.
He's a touch "Blah" today from the vaccinations, but thanks, once again, for Tylenol!
I'm having a hard time swallowing the concept of being instructed to "brush his teeth". Not something I thought I'd be doing at 4 months :) Oh, well, He likes pretty much anything you put in his mouth at this point, so we'll get er' done :)
