A New Look

some of the new features I hope to see:
-Archive of previous posts by month and then week
-links to posts I follow
-Jacob's adoption story
-a wider view...so I can have bigger pictures and videos
-only one post per page, so it will load faster
Those are a few of my hopes :) We'll see how long it takes to get it up and functional :)
It's a rainy day here today...good napping/laundry weather. Would you pray for my sister and her family as they should be on the road for their vacation. They have a 30 hour drive ahead of them and will end up in WY. I'm sad it didn't work for us to go play with them :( I'm waving real big in a northern direction :) Christmas will be here soon...Lord willing, we'll get some playing in then.
Uncle Byron and Aunt Suzy and family plan to be here next week, Hooray! We are excited to see and spend some time with them! I'll post photos.

Sweet Corn
Submitted by Rachel on Tue, 07/28/2009 - 09:13Jacob was helping me shuck sweet corn yesterday....it's just as yummy raw as it is cooked! :) We are off to the thrift store today, Hooray!
Deuteronomy 4:29-31
"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
"When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.
"For the LORD your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
We praise God today for his compassion, for sweet corn and for the thrift store!

We had a super fun weekend! We are praising God for our family and time spent with them!
