Jacob likes to dig in the pocket on our chair...you never know what fun and exciting stuff ends up in there! We are planning on eating at Pizza Hut for lunch buffet with some other mom's (and Aunt Vicki) today, then it's off to pet sit before our afternoon nap. So that should be fun. We are done with Ladies Bible study until June, so our Tuesdays are suddenly freed up :) Hope you all are well.
May your "pockets" always be full of surprises :)
Psalm 5:11-12
But let all who take refuge in You be glad,
Let them ever sing for joy;
And may You shelter them,
That those who love Your name may exult in You.
For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD,
You surround him with favor as with a shield.
We had a ball at Grandma and Papa Don's house this weekend. Both of my brothers and families were there. It was nice to love on 8 of our nieces and nephews. (We sure missed our Virginia family :)The roads were clear of all the ice and snow, so that was an added blessing. Jacob is a great traveler. We praise God this day for our family, and for his matchless love for us!
Snowy sunrise on the plains
This is my 13 year old nephew Joel, (wearing his dad's hat and glasses)
Oh to be so cool as when we were 13 huh?
Papa Don even let Jacob sit on the pool table :)
This is my oldest niece Monica, she's super.
May your Monday be Blessed!
Hooray for a day at home. We may get out in the snow later for a grocery trek...but pretty much a day at home :) Our pet sit cancelled for today, which I'm thankful for :) Jacob doesn't seem to be feeling the best. We are gonna rest today.
Army crawling where ever we want to go!
We thank God this day for rest, and for creating our bodies just right!
Jacob's 9 month doctor visit went well today. He weighed in at 16lb 7oz, is 28 1/2 inches tall, and has a head circumference of 46cm. Dr Winfield's only complaint was his weight, so we got a list of some "fatty" things to add to his diet. Maybe I'll start eating them too, and see if that helps me put some meat on my bones :) Anyway, that went well, then it was off to pet sitting...
Here are a few photos of "Alice" we'll be back to see her on Friday.
Seriously, how cute is she?
"Sometimes just looking at puppies, tickles my nose."
This was the view out my car window, I couldn't resist it :)
This was to show you that it's snowing pretty good tonight, and is supposed to continue till tomorrow...we'll see how much we get.
I warned Marand that I was gonna put this on the website, he was being a goof, and Jacob has been fascinated with his tongue lately. He can't keep his fingers off it! Silly Boys....who I love immensely :)
We praise God today for doctors and saftey on snowy roads.
Jacob and I have been out and about today. The pet-sitting service is booming :) Thanks God! I'm gonna have to take some photos of this newest one, little "Alice" is the cutest puppy, and Jacob thinks she's pretty fun to play with. She is tiny, and I think that he appreciates not feeling intimidated, she is just his size :) we are home for our nap and to make bread to take to our last ladies Bible study tonight, then off one more time to visit Alice.
Tomorrow we have Jacob's 9 month doctor's appointment (no shots this time, Hooray! )...so I'll keep you posted on that. We praise God today for health and strength to be out and about running around!
