Thought I'd keep you posted on Marand's tooth...The appointment yesterday went well. Two hours of more digging and cleaning out the previous root canal (those weren't intended to be un-done!) and the doctor "sees something" possibly a shard of metal, possibly the cause of the problem, we'll see. There is still a "space" up in there that needs to fill in, so she is giving it till May and then we'll take a look at it again and see if she can re-do the root canal or not. Please pray that that heals up so the tooth can be saved. If it has to be pulled, that makes for a whole other set of costs with an implant. Being the very last tooth, all the others would tend to drift if you didn't fill in the space. We are praising God that the dentist seems to be VERY thorough, and that Marand is not in any discomfort. Thanks for thinking of him, and asking about how he's doing. What doesn't kill us, or put us in the poor house makes us stronger right?? :)
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Jacob is still making his "snorty face" these days....what a character! He makes me laugh :)
Marand is off to his second endodontist appointment today, I'll keep you posted on that, Jacob and I have a noon pet sit, so we'll be off loving on doggies!
Romans 11:33-36:
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR?
Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN?
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
It is snowy here again this morning....Jacob and I are so glad we got out and walked yesterday :)
Jacob is basically weaning himself from breastfeeding, we are down to first thing in the morning and last thing at night. He is doing such a good job with "solidish" foods, we ate whole peas last night, and his favorite snack is graham crackers. I've got some pretty messy photos to post of him eating those. It sure is nice to have a boy with a mouthful of teeth :)
Hope your Thursday is a good one!
We woke up to a spring snow outside this morning! It's so wet and heavy, it feels more like a March/April snow as apposed to a February snow. Boy, is it pretty. The sun has come out since I took the photos and the light is blinding now, but so gorgeous!
"Come now, and let us reason together,"
Says the LORD,
"Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.
I had to run out and get a couple shots with the sun fully up. I'm praising God today for the amazing world he created, and that because of Jesus my sins are as white as snow!
Marand has been playing this game in his "spare time" He's pretty nerdy like that....be for-warned, it can sure be time-consuming, but it's pretty cool to think through the different engineering possibilities!
