The Wave Again

It's nice to have some interaction with Jacob these days! Marand and I are enjoying being acknowledged :) We know that when the teenage years come along...we'll be back to being ignored, so we are enjoying this while it lasts :)

We send a wave your way as well!

Esther 4:14

"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"

I praise God this day for "such a time as this" and for strategically placing me in it.

Hooray for Sunshine!

It's a pretty day here today. Amazing what the sunshine will do do a persons spirits :) I'm feeling quite a bit less sore today, thankfully, I just keep reminding myself that "I'm young, I bounce back :)" Don't any of you go and burst my bubble now! We'll be doing good if the 3 of us can just fend off this bug that threatens. Hope all of you are healthy and well. We love you!

Jacob In A Box

What fun we had with our little "Jacob in a Box" ! Now Marand and I are dreaming of a bigger house (someday Lord willing :) to have more space to ride around in. Jacob appreciated being pulled along so he could reach out and touch/grab things he hasn't yet be able to reach from his spot on the floor.

We've got the last meeting with our birth-counselor from Bethany tomorrow...and our adoption court date is set for February 3rd, so things are moving right along. I'm thankful today for  warmer weather outside. I fell on the ice yesterday in the Walmart parking lot, so I'm nursing a sore shoulder and knee, I biffed it good. Thankfully I was on my way around the car to get Jacob and he wasn't with me! It was very cold and slick yesterday! Today looks to be a touch better. I think Jacob is gonna take his afternoon nap at Marand's office with Aunt Vicki while I'm off to clean the church. Hope your day goes well.

Normal Day

Just a normal day here in the high country :) We baby-sat for Ladies Bible study, are working on finishing up the laundry and Jacob's napping. Thank you LORD for normal days :) It was a chilly 4 degrees here this morning, and was about 9 at noon time....we are thanking God for a warm house. This weekend is Shaun's (and Tina's) birthday....so we are off to Grand Junction for a visit, and are looking forward to that :) we send our love you you all! Hope you are enjoying the normalicy of your day as well.
