Snowy Walk

Jacob and I had fun on our snowy walk yesterday...the sun is out today also, so we make our way out again. I sure like the palm trees in Birth Grandpa and Grandma's neck of the woods. The evergreens and aspens are pretty, but variety is lacking up here :) Hope you get a chance to get out and praise God for his creation today....wherever you live.

Almost Sitting Up

I'm still working on sitting up, getting better at it every day!

Jacob and I are cleaning house today for people coming over tomorrow night. What are your plans for the new year?

The New Year Approaches

The solid (ish) food is going much better, for those of you who were wondering. We are doing great with the sweet potatoes and now are adding bananas to our rice cereal breakfast :) Yummy!

Psalm 103:1-5

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

Hard to believe that the year 2009 is upon us...I praise God for "satisfying my years with good things" "All things work together for good....."

Fussy Teeth

Jacob wanted to show you all his teeth while he was fussing at his Momma last night :) Silly little man. We are testing out "solid(ish) foods" these days, sweet potato last night. So far his gag relfex is working properly....I'll keep trying :) Marand said his gag reflex works well with sweet potatos too :) That's my boys.

Happy Day After Christmas!

Thanks Birth Aunt Steph for our "favorite hat"! We love it!

We had a fun time with Marand's brother Shaun yesterday in Grand Junction. Snowy roads to travel on...but we made it. We went bowling and ate at the bowling alley cafe (which we were very grateful was open :) Hope your Christmas was nice. We'd love to hear about them.
