Absent from the Body..... Present with our LORD!

We learned tonight that our Grandpa Barrientez has gone to be with Jesus. It's such a God thing that such sadness and hurt, can be mixed with such joy and peace. He will be greatly missed.
Grandpa has struggled with his health for some time, but you would have never known it by the sweet spirit he displayed. He always had a joke or a riddle to make you think, and took time to sit and talk with just about everyone in the room. He'd ask you to pull up a chair beside him. He called us "beautiful" and thought of photos of Jacob as better than gold. He'd always ask if I'd lean in so he could kiss my forehead.
Would you be in prayer for our family, especially for Grandma Gloria. I'll keep you posted on our travel plans. Thank you God, for Jesus, and an eternal home where we will be reunited with loved ones.

Please give our regards and sympathy to Randy, Lynanne, Gloria and the other family members. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. It is so good to know that the LORD is with us through these times and will heal the hurt. We say amen to Becky's post and are praying for you all. We miss them all but will see them and Jesus again someday! Thanks for keeping us posted, we love the website and our growing Jacob. We are in Texas now, a little warmer but still cloudy and very humid.

I am so sorry to hear that Granpa Barrientez is gone from this life, but so glad to hear that he is with the Lord! Your post reminded me so much of Grandpa Miller. The Jacob that we knew and loved! I will keep the Barrientez family in prayer in the coming days. Missing him will be hard. Just think, he's with Jesus and our grandparents and our dad too. What a reunion!
