Sheltered Family
Well, my Virginia family was detained due to weather. What a bummer to spend the time they were supposed to spend with us, in a shelter in West Virginia (1.5 hours from their house;). But boy, are we so thankful they were safe and warm. Sooooo they were allowed to trek out again about 9:00 this morning, but will skip our house and head straight to Momma's in LaJunta. Jacob, Monica and I will head down Monday morning and meet them there for the rest of our time together. Hooray for a long vacation time...even with having to miss part of it :) Our God is so good to have our best in mind at all times...he sees the big picture.
Thanks Aunt Tina for Marand's new lego set. He and Jacob had a great time putting it together today.
Ooooooo look mom, we did it!

We hope you have had a wonderful relaxing restful and fun family time! But now that after this weekend, normal life resumes, just wanted you to know how much we missed peeking in on the doings of the Barrientez household in the past week! You are loved and missed! Love Birth Grandma
So good to go...so good to come home. We are so blessed. Sorry to have been so lax in posting, hopefully we will get back into the swing of things soon. Jacob is fervently working through his second, bottom, two year molar, and I'm bumping up the potty training a touch....reminding myself to rejoice in all things :) The fish tank still needs moved, the condo fixed up, and sold...adoption papers to fill out again, and I just can't seem to keep the snow shoveled off the driveway....What great blessings we enjoy daily. Hope your Christmas was lovely, and Lord willing we'll spend some time with you all soon! I got the notice we have a package to pick up at the post office, but it was closed till Monday, Woo - Hoo for third Christmas! Love you all as well....Sarah, did you get our package??
Be sure to give your sweet Mama and Aunt Becky all our love and hugs when you see them! Everytime I see new pics of Jacob, I am just struck by how much he is losing his "baby" face and looking more and more like a little man! Of course give him hugs and kisses from us! We really miss our grandchildren! Love, Birth Grandma
