Christmas With Fire!

What a blessing to celebrate Christmas! Hooray for simply yummy "sloppy Joe's" on homemade rolls, with bananas foster for dessert :) Marand is pretty good at setting things on fire.

Last we heard from Becky and Company was that they were at a dead stand-still on the interstate in West Virginia due to snowy weather....They had made it off early, but were now delayed. Would you pray for them this night as they drive. Hooray, my sister is coming to see me! They should be here sometime tomorrow (Saturday) night, then it's off to LaJunta Monday after the Christmas Cantata at church on Sunday night. I'll most likely post a few times while there, but not much....I'll be too busy doing puzzles, playing games, baking, eating, getting my hair cut, opening presents, laughing, looking through bags and bags of thrift store stuff, did I mention eating?? Hooray for Christmas! Our God is so good to allow us time with loved ones. May your Christmas' be filled with Jesus, and overflowing with thankfulness!

I love the picture of Marand at the stove, as well, but my favorite is the one of Jacob with the bow in his hair. He doesn't look to sure about it. It's almost like an instinct telling him bows aren't for boys, but it's fun to dress up like a present, anyway. Have a blessed, and safe trip, and amen to the greatest gift of all, Jesus.

That was so sweet! I especially liked the pic of Marand with a towel over his shoulder - Dave is like that too when he has the time and the creativity muse strikes! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family in LaJunta! We sent a box, but it will not arrive before you leave for your Mom's ... so it will be waiting for you wnen you get back! How fun, the opening presents part just keeps on going, LOL ... Love Birth Grandma
