Estes Park

Our Adventure day with Jacob's birth family in Estes Park yesterday was Super Fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the views on my drive there and back. Today, we stay put ;)

I take decent photos out of my windshield huh??

I know, I know, I couldn't stop...Jacob was sleeping, and I didn't want to wake him up!

This is Long's Peak one of Colorado's 14,000 footer's..It may be calling my name ;)

Marand thinks it would be cool to build our house like this church.

Do you hear it? I think I do :) I''m gonna have to see if Mr. Doug (my expert mountain climbing buddy) would like to plan this into his summer hikes...

I also had to travel this way to make it to the town of Nederland. Seriously, a frozen dead guy...how interesting is that?? Here is a song telling the story..

Adventures, got to love them!

Estes Park is a pretty place!

We've been enjoying the bing cherry season around our house, now if I can just teach Jacob that "spitting" out imaginary cherry seeds all day long isn't the best thing for a little man to be doing. He does good on Marand's lap, pretending to spit out the seeds on his plate (just like dad does)...but it carries on through the day. He had us laughing pretty good during our "family prayer" before bed last night, he was walking around the crib making spitting noises at every corner. Staying focused on praying and not laughing was a challenge.

Boys are naughty.

He makes his daddy proud ;)
